WHAT IS THE GOAL OF REFUGE KIDS?
PURPOSE:
That every child would enjoy God's love, know God’s Word, and apply the lessons they learn to every day life with family and friends.
WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE:
• Little Kids (ages 1-3 in 2 separate classrooms): Learning the Gospel. Familiar Bible stories. Know God loves them. Learn simple songs of worship.
• Big Kids (ages 4-12 in 3 separate groups): Reading the Bible for themselves. Apply God’s truths in every day life. Understanding God’s truth applies to their questions and struggles.
KIDS CLASSES
AGES 1-3
The nursery is available for ages 1-3. The children are separated into 2 rooms (1yo and2-3yo). 2 volunteers (required background checks and training) read stories, sing songs, and care for the children during the worship gathering.
AGES 4-12
Children ages 4-12 are in one large classroom and separated into 3 age-specific groups. Each Sunday they study foundational Christian beliefs and memorize Bible verses (prizes for bringing your Bible!). They also enjoy age-specific activities, games, and singing!

VOLUNTEER
Volunteers play a big role in helping the Kids Church Team!
Volunteers commit to serving one week a month by helping the Kids Church staff supervise activities and create an engaging, loving atmosphere for every child.

We take the SAFETY of our kids seriously. Kids Church volunteers must agree to The Refuge Church Statement of Faith, pass a background check, and complete safety training.
For training and background checks we use MinistrySafe.
