Lament to Hope

A series through the book of Lamentations.

Lament doesn’t offer an easy answer.

I’m not sure Lament offers an answer at all. It is doing something else. You will find in the book of Lamentations that they already know “why” destruction came to the city. The destruction in this case came because of the sin and unfaithfulness of the people. Knowing the reason doesn’t ease the suffering. Lamentations isn’t a search for an answer as much as it is a search for God.
